Thank you for visiting our web site.

AID Upstate is an AIDS Service Organization serving Upstate South Carolina (Anderson, Oconee, Pickens and Greenville counties). Currently, AU serves, on average, 800+ clients and families touched by HIV/AIDS.

Our services include housing assistance, nutritional and pharmaceutical needs, food and transportation. In addition to serving as advocates for our clients, AU, in partnership with other community organizations, seeks opportunities to teach and inform Upstate citizens who are at risk of contracting HIV/AIDS of the dangers of certain risks behaviors. Free HIV testing is available on site as well as sites around the Upstate.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and depend on private donations in addition to the Federal funding of the Ryan White CARE Act.

Although new drugs allow HIV+ citizens to live with AIDS, there is no vaccine, nor cure. Until such drugs or vaccines are available to EVERYONE, we must continue our work and seek your support.

If you would like to become a volunteer or make a donation, please click on the contact button on the left.

Until there is a cure . . . our work is not complete.

Sincerely,
Stephen Woods, Esq.
President, Board of Directors

Dining with Friends 2008 raised over $90,000. Thank you to our DWF hosts and their guests as well as The Red Party Committee for all the work and effort to ensure another successful fundraising season.
Support for our community significantly impacts people living with HIV/AIDS in our four-county service area.
