At the International AIDS Conference last month, the CDC released its finding from a recent study of their data related to people living with HIV in the U.S. and the level of care they receive. Here are few of their findings:

  • Few Americans with HIV have their virus under control. Overall, only 25 percent were virally suppressed.

In the U.S., June 27 is recognized as National HIV Testing Day. This special day helps remind the general public of the importance of HIV Testing. Many men and women make a special effort to get tested annually for HIV on that day.

AID Upstate offers free, confidential HIV testing and STD screening services daily, Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM.
